Planning
Planning for great photos is worth the effort, and is the keystone for building a game plan for your day. Everyone knows someone who hired a wedding photographer; ask friends and relatives for references, browse the online galleries & social media of potential photographers, and get a feel for their style and thoughtfulness. Ultimately, several photographers will resonate with you. Contact them, talk with them not only by email, but by phone and by personally meeting them. Tell them your plans, your expectations and ask them for their thoughts and insights. Ask about additional photographers, contract specifics, and ask for references. Portraits? absolutely! Let us know! Also, let us help you build enough time into your schedule for pictures. Day of, things can ( and often do ) take a little longer than anticipated.
